Spectators: 710 (Terracing: 500, Seating: 200, VIP seats: 10) When Dave Strano came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Chiaravalle FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dave Strano couldn't finish the play. After 7 played minutes ASD Zola Predosa got a freekick which was hit by Fulvio Malandra. After 13 played minutes, Chiaravalle FC's Alberigo Lusi shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Fortunato Filice came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Chiaravalle FC reached it. The supporters of Chiaravalle FC booed when ASD Zola Predosa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amedeo Nobile didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fortunato Filice acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 21st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Alessio Di Girolamo. A hard shot 24 in the game by Dave Strano from a close distance when the talented Fortunato Filice managed to make a qualified save. ASD Zola Predosa's players were relieved. A collision led to ASD Zola Predosa getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Amedeo Pazienza hit a great ball. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind ASD Zola Predosa's goalkeeper Fortunato Filice, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Arturo Vanni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bianco Muzzatti having to interfere. Bianco Muzzatti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arturo Vanni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Dave Strano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 37 played minutes ASD Zola Predosa got a freekick which was hit by Edoardo Di Gregorio. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alexander Nazzari in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fortunato Filice saved ASD Zola Predosa from getting behind. Dave Strano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Fortunato Filice tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Fortunato Filice took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dave Strano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexander Nazzari in the 55th minute of play forced ASD Zola Predosa's goalkeeper Fortunato Filice to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fortunato Filice showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexander Nazzari in the 62nd minute of the match. The supporters of Chiaravalle FC booed when ASD Zola Predosa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberigo Lusi kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. 68 minutes into the match, Chiaravalle FC's goalkeeper Bianco Muzzatti had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aurelio De Marco. When Franco Damiani fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chiaravalle FC's protests and gave Franco Damiani a yellow card for diving instead. After 72 played minutes Chiaravalle FC got a freekick which was hit by Franco Damiani. 78 minutes into the match, Alexander Nazzari notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of ASD Zola Predosa's Fortunato Filice. Fortunato Filice was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Arturo Vanni blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bianco Muzzatti having to make a save. Fortunato Filice showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Franco Damiani in the 93rd minute of the match. Dave Strano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fortunato Filice read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. Chiaravalle FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
