Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 34 minutes into the game, Alex De Leonardis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Ciro Minichiello was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alex De Leonardis in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ciro Minichiello prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alex De Leonardis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciro Minichiello having to interfere. After 46 played minutes, Casaglia's Bernardo Ferri shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ciro Minichiello came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Casaglia reached it.

The wind increased when Alex De Leonardis made the kick off in the second half. Elia Trasatti charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Elia Trasatti the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elia Trasatti in the 67th minute of play forced Casaglia's goalkeeper Angelo Baciadonne to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 73 minutes into the match, Novare AFC's goalkeeper Ciro Minichiello had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Enzo Fasciani. Novare AFC's Arrigo Cericola got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alex De Leonardis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciro Minichiello having to interfere. In the 81st minute, Aurelio Gismondi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alex De Leonardis might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ciro Minichiello. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alex De Leonardis ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 86th match minute, Casaglia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fulvio Grifoni to maneuver through the defense. 95 minutes into the game, Alex De Leonardis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Ciro Minichiello was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
