Novare AFC's Ciro Minichiello played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ettore Di Martino in the 34th minute of play. Firenze's Attilio Giansante played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arrigo Cericola in the 36th minute of play. Ettore Di Martino hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Firenze's Attilio Giansante got control of the ball when Ermanno Campitelli tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 43rd minute, Ermanno Campitelli left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Novare AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arrigo Cericola was the one to do the kick off. Ettore Di Martino struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Ciro Minichiello didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Firenze. After some careless play in the Firenze defense, Arrigo Cericola kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Attilio Giansante. The Firenze fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Attilio Giansante should have stopped the shot. Attilio Giansante made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elia Trasatti in the 68th minute of play. Arrigo Cericola recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arrigo Cericola scored 5-0 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Attilio Giansante, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Attilio Giansante showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ermanno Campitelli in the 94th minute of the match. After 95 played minutes Firenze got a freekick which was hit by Bernardo Vida. After 97 minutes, Bernardo Villani mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Firenze and the Novare AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Bernardo Villani kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the Novare AFC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
