The audience thought a goal was coming when Elia Biagetti got free with Fausto Loreto in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Claudio Clementi hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. 0-1 became the score in the 29th minute when Ferruccio Proietto elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Fausto Loreto made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Elia Biagetti sent off a good shot on target. When Claudio Clementi fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pontecchio Marconi AFC's protests and gave Claudio Clementi a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Molara booed when Pontecchio Marconi AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudio Clementi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Elia Biagetti took the ball and in the 48 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fausto Loreto. Fausto Loreto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Attilio Aceto made the kick off in the second half. 59 minutes into the game, Molara's Elia Biagetti nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fausto Loreto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cosimo Petrini during the 63rd minute. Fausto Loreto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Attilio Aceto in the 86th minute of the match. The supporters of Molara booed when Pontecchio Marconi AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alvise Fulgenzi didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Molara fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aurelio Canuto should have stopped the shot. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
