Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The audience thought a goal was coming when Enrico Marulli got free with Vasco Ferreira in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With an all-out effort, Collinello's Vasco Ferreira threw himself towards the right post 5 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Francesco La Penna, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Cristiano Cesareo came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Marsala AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristiano Cesareo couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Collinello's zone, Cristiano Cesareo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arrigo Sisti came out of the goal and Cristiano Cesareo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 15 played minutes Collinello got a freekick which was hit by Anfilogino Aureli. Vasco Ferreira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Enrico Marulli in the 19th minute. In the 22nd minute, Collinello's Francesco La Penna dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 25th minute of the match Ciccio Pan shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vasco Ferreira showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Vasco Ferreira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anselmo Salvadore in the 26th minute of the match. Collinello's Arrigo Sisti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristóvão Borges in the 29th minute of play. Arrigo Sisti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristóvão Borges in the 31st minute of play. Anselmo Salvadore sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vasco Ferreira made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Enrico Marulli sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Collinello's Anselmo Salvadore slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Vasco Ferreira. That made the score 2-0 after 38 minutes of play. A collision led to Collinello getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Anfilogino Aureli hit a great ball. Vasco Ferreira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dennis Biavati in the 43rd minute of the match. Anselmo Salvadore sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vasco Ferreira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francesco La Penna in the 47th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cristóvão Borges was the one to do the kick off. After 51 played minutes Collinello got a freekick which was hit by Francesco La Penna. Marsala AFC's supporters stood up full of expectation in the 57th minute of the game, when Enzo Brunelli after an extraordinary solo performance found himself with a golden opportunity in front of Collinello's goal. Enzo Brunelli was unfortunally a little to anxious and the ball went outside the goal. If Enrico Marulli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 60 minutes into the game, Ciccio Pan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Collinello's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Marsala AFC the free kick. Ciccio Pan kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. In the 63rd minute, Dennis Biavati made a precise shot to the right of Vasco Ferreira. Marsala AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. When Collinello's Francesco La Penna in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Marsala AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Ciccio Pan made a great header on Collinello's corner, it was just that Marsala AFC's Vasco Ferreira managed to reach the ball for a save. Vasco Ferreira came out of the goal and Francesco La Penna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Collinello's Arrigo Sisti got control of the ball when Cristóvão Borges tried to sneak it across the goal line. Arrigo Sisti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristiano Cesareo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 81 minutes into the match, Dennis Biavati had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vasco Ferreira. Marsala AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dennis Biavati was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. After a rather tough play, Collinello's Ferdinando Di Felice got a free kick in the 84th minute. After 93 played minutes Collinello got a freekick which was hit by Ciccio Pan. Marsala AFC's Vasco Ferreira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francesco La Penna in the 95th minute of play. Collinello's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
