When the match clock showed 7 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Aurelio Di Fabrizio sped through Borgo Scaligero's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dario Fata. Ettore Gagliano might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dario Fata. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ettore Gagliano ran back to his position shaking his head. If Leonard Fujara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aurelio Di Fabrizio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Aurelio Di Fabrizio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dario Fata read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. The Marcon FC fans' excitement grew in the 18th match minute when Marcon FC's Aurelio Di Fabrizio looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Aurelio Di Fabrizio scored 0-3 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dario Fata, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Borgo Scaligero's zone, Ettore Gagliano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dario Fata came out of the goal and Ettore Gagliano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 26thth minute of the game Aurelio Di Fabrizio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Borgo Scaligero's Dario Fata was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aurelio Di Fabrizio in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dario Fata saved Borgo Scaligero from getting behind. Ettore Gagliano hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Dario Fata made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ettore Gagliano in the 40th minute of play. In the 45th minute Aurelio Di Fabrizio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dario Fata saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dario Fata showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fulvio Rosa in the 47th minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Achille Chiappini made a kick off. Borgo Scaligero's Dario Fata proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Borgo Scaligero from getting a goal against them. Fulvio Rosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Dario Fata tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dario Fata made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aurelio Di Fabrizio in the 61st minute. After 63 played minutes Marcon FC got a freekick which was hit by Tito Castillo. If Aurelio Di Fabrizio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ettore Gagliano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Dario Fata tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alvise Rinaldi got free with Dario Fata in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Aurelio Di Fabrizios short, quick shot in the 74thth minute got Dario Fata to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 77 minutes into the match, Aurelio Di Fabrizio notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Borgo Scaligero's Dario Fata. Dario Fata was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Borgo Scaligero's Dario Fata played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aurelio Di Fabrizio in the 80th minute of play. Dario Fata stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aurelio Di Fabrizio's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. Marcon FC played a much better game than Borgo Scaligero and deserved their victory. The Borgo Scaligero players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
