Spectators: 6682 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1682, VIP seats: 0) Dave Monticelli started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Dave Monticelli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Franco Reggianini having to interfere. Donato Cordone hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Franco Reggianini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dave Monticelli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Franco Reggianini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dave Monticelli in the 10th minute of the match. In the 11th match minute, Mamago FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antonello Ottaviani to maneuver through the defense. 15 minutes into the match, Anthony Silveri had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dario Scarinci. Prati AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anthony Silveri was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Dave Monticelli took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Franco Reggianini. Franco Reggianini dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. With a little luck, Prati AFC's Dario Scarinci got control of the ball when Anthony Silveri tried to sneak it across the goal line. Armando Vinciguerra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Flavio Pacella had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dave Monticelli in the 34th minute of play forced Mamago FC's goalkeeper Franco Reggianini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Mamago FC defense, Dave Monticelli kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Franco Reggianini. The Mamago FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Franco Reggianini should have stopped the shot. 46 minutes into the match, Mamago FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dave Monticelli came free, but Franco Reggianini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Prati AFC's Flavio Pacella got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half Prati AFC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After a rather tough play, Mamago FC's Andrea Strano got a free kick in the 51st minute. Francesco Tardelli kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Flavio Pacella got free with Franco Reggianini in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Franco Reggianini was out of position in the 56 minute of play, and Dave Monticelli capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Dave Monticelli really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. 74 minutes into the game, Prati AFC's Flavio Pacella nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Franco Reggianini made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. Franco Reggianini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dave Monticelli, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Dave Monticelli blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Franco Reggianini having to make a save. Dario Scarinci showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armando Vinciguerra, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Flavio Pacella received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Franco Reggianini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Prati AFC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
