Alberto Fortunato started the match with the kick off. Ermanno Bardella showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eugenio Epifani in the 4th minute of the match. In the 6th minute Eugenio Epifani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ermanno Bardella saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 9 minutes into the game, Diego Puce was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Palazzi's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bariana the free kick. The supporters of Palazzi booed when Bariana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cesare Alessandro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Palazzi's Beppe Domina couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 25th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Bariana. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugenio Epifani in the 27th minute of play forced Bariana's goalkeeper Ermanno Bardella to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Palazzi's defense didn't have a chance, in the 29th minute, when Florian Limitone scored to the left of an out of position Cesare Di Meo, making the score, 2-0. Bariana's Ermanno Bardella played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniele Canuto in the 33rd minute of play. Bariana's Alberto Fortunato got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cesare Di Meo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Bariana were furious when Cesare Alessandro was red carded, 57 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Cesare Di Meo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alberto Fortunato's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. Filippo Manzo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Bariana getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Enrico Fava hit a great ball. With a little luck, Bariana's Ermanno Bardella got control of the ball when Enzo Pasqualone tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 72nd minute, Daniele Canuto fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After some careless play in the Bariana defense, Daniele Canuto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ermanno Bardella. The Bariana fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ermanno Bardella should have stopped the shot. Enzo Pasqualone was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 79th minute. Palazzi's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Ermanno Bardella was a little too slow when Eugenio Epifani got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 79th minute. The score was now 4-3. 87 minutes into the match, Bariana's goalkeeper Ermanno Bardella had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Enzo Pasqualone. Cesare Di Meo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alberto Fortunato's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. If Alessio Piacentini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alessio Piacentini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bariana's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Donato Papa in the 97th minute. Donato Papa made a great header on Bariana's corner, it was just that Palazzi's Cesare Di Meo managed to reach the ball for a save. Bariana's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
