In the 40th minute Domenico Fagnani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabrizio Melis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 44 played minutes Domenico Fagnani rounded Casnate AFC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Armin Verdone in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fabrizio Melis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 53 minutes into the match, Casnate AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Domenico Fagnani came free, but Fabrizio Melis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fabrizio Melis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Domenico Fagnani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Casnate AFC's zone, Domenico Fagnani stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabrizio Melis came out of the goal and Domenico Fagnani tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Domenico Fagnani's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fabrizio Melis was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. Fabrizio Melis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domenico Fagnani, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. A collision led to Casnate AFC getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Amerigo Polmone hit a great ball. After 78 played minutes Lasmelas FC got a freekick which was hit by Armin Verdone. 82 minutes into the match, Armin Verdone notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Casnate AFC's Fabrizio Melis. Fabrizio Melis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo Betti in the 85th minute of play forced Casnate AFC's goalkeeper Fabrizio Melis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Armin Verdone struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Fabrizio Melis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lasmelas FC. 90 minutes into the match, Casnate AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Armin Verdone came free, but Fabrizio Melis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
