Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) When Narcis Obreja fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Yellow Flag's protests and gave Narcis Obreja a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Yellow Flag getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Narcis Obreja hit a great ball. Wim Wilmes might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nistor Pantelimon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wim Wilmes ran back to his position shaking his head. 6 minutes into the game, Gustaaf Groeneveldt was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Netherlands's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Yellow Flag the free kick. Gustaaf Groeneveldt hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wim Wilmes in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nistor Pantelimon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silviu Oardă, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 11th minute, Yellow Flag's Tiberiu Bucur seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Tiberiu Bucur the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Yellow Flag protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Tiberiu Bucur had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Tiberiu Bucur hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 12th minute of play forced Yellow Flag's goalkeeper Nistor Pantelimon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gustaaf Groeneveldt struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Nistor Pantelimon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Netherlands. Nistor Pantelimon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wim Wilmes in the 19th minute of play. Iordache Greavu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnout Reekers having to interfere. Nistor Pantelimon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wim Wilmes in the 27th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Yellow Flag's Baba Alba got a free kick in the 34th minute. Nistor Pantelimon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 35th minute of play. Nistor Pantelimon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Eikelkamp, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Netherlands's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 42nd minute. Wim Wilmes made a great header on Netherlands's corner, it was just that Yellow Flag's Nistor Pantelimon managed to reach the ball for a save. The Netherlands fans' excitement grew in the 42nd match minute when Netherlands's Wim Wilmes looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After having played for 47 minutes, Gijsbert ter Kruimer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Netherlands's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gijsbert ter Kruimer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gijsbert ter Kruimer to make the kick off. Yellow Flag's Nistor Pantelimon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lars Meesters in the 51st minute of play. A hard shot 55 in the game by Gustaaf Groeneveldt from a close distance when the talented Nistor Pantelimon managed to make a qualified save. Yellow Flag's players were relieved. Nistor Pantelimon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 59 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Silviu Oardă came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 60th minute, Narcis Obreja hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 63 minutes into the match, Yellow Flag's goalkeeper Nistor Pantelimon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt. When Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Yellow Flag's goalie prevented a goal. With a little luck, Yellow Flag's Nistor Pantelimon got control of the ball when Wim Wilmes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Baba Alba kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Gijsbert ter Kruimer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nistor Pantelimon having to interfere. 76 minutes had been played when some careless play by Yellow Flag's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer was slow to take the kick. During this time Netherlands's players had a chance to rest. Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Nistor Pantelimon in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Nistor Pantelimon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gijsbert ter Kruimer's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. In the 81st minute, Lars Meesters got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Narcis Obreja fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnout Reekers having to interfere. Nistor Pantelimon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lars Meesters in the 88th minute of the match. Nistor Pantelimon came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Netherlands's Wim Wilmes. But to his dismay, Wim Wilmes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. When the match was over Netherlands could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Yellow Flag throughout the match.
