Spectators: 7410 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 60) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Ercole Cinalli made the kick off which started today's match. Fontana's Edoardo Calabrese played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felice Della Torre in the 5th minute of play. After 6 minutes, Antonio Nicolini mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fontana and the TOP ONE players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 6th match minute, Fontana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antonio Nicolini to maneuver through the defense. If Ercole Cinalli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Edoardo Calabrese managed to avoid a goal in the 10thth minute, when TOP ONE's Ercole Cinalli fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ercole Cinalli hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Eraldo Marongiu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andrea Serantoni, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. TOP ONE's Eraldo Marongiu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Camillo Landolfi in the 14th minute of play. Ercole Cinalli took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edoardo Calabrese. Edoardo Calabrese dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 23rd minute Alberto Scirea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eraldo Marongiu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Scirea in the 24th minute of play forced TOP ONE's goalkeeper Eraldo Marongiu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Fedele Bontempi came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the TOP ONE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fedele Bontempi couldn't finish the play. Eraldo Marongiu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Scirea, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Ercole Cinalli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 38th minute, TOP ONE's Comunardo Petrocchi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Edoardo Calabrese. Edoardo Calabrese yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. The audience was convinced that Ercole Cinalli's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edoardo Calabrese was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. Ercole Cinalli's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 43rdth minute, Edoardo Calabrese skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Ercole Cinalli managed to get in a good position for a shot. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Camillo Landolfi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Andrea Serantoni's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eraldo Marongiu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. Eraldo Marongiu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andrea Serantoni, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. In the 57thth minute of the game Ercole Cinalli who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fontana's Edoardo Calabrese was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Edoardo Calabrese tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 59th minute, Antonio Nicolini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eraldo Marongiu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrea Serantoni in the 61st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Fontana's zone, Ercole Cinalli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edoardo Calabrese came out of the goal and Ercole Cinalli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 71 minutes into the match, Fontana's goal looked a bit too open when Fedele Bontempi came free, but Edoardo Calabrese reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 73rd minute Alberto Scirea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eraldo Marongiu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When TOP ONE's Ercole Cinalli in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fontana's goalie prevented a goal. The referee ignored Fontana's protests and gave Andrea Serantoni a yellow card for diving instead. In the 80th minute, Andrea Serantoni hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of TOP ONE booed when Fontana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carter Anastasi didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Fontana's Alberto Scirea slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Eraldo Marongiu. That made the score 4-1 after 95 minutes of play.
