Emanuele Raniolo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Comunardo Genovesi's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. The DEGHERFORCE fans' excitement grew in the 17th match minute when DEGHERFORCE's Comunardo Genovesi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Elia Falcone charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Alex De Fina, 59 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as DEGHERFORCE's Comunardo Genovesi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Emanuele Raniolo. That made the score 1-2 after 69 minutes of play. Emanuele Raniolo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Comunardo Genovesi in the 71st minute of the match. 73 minutes into the match, Grottaferrata's Frank Menna sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Andrea Di Dio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Frank Menna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Andrea Di Dio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Frank Menna managed to get in a good position for a shot. Grottaferrata's supporters rose to their feet, but Frank Menna was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andrea Di Dio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 95th minute, Enrico Lupi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Andrea Di Dio was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. DEGHERFORCE walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
