Enrico Lupi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Dave Cancemi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 23 played minutes Inter got a freekick which was hit by Alessio Tomasso. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frank Menna got free with Dave Cancemi in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 27th minute Fabio Teti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuele Raniolo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Frank Menna took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dave Cancemi. Dave Cancemi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Camillo Trotta in the 33rd minute of play forced Voltre FC's goalkeeper Emanuele Raniolo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Attilio Di Ianni hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Dave Cancemi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enrico Lupi, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Enrico Lupi was extremely unlucky when he, in the 42nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 49th minute Camillo Trotta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuele Raniolo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Enrico Lupi to strike the kick off in the second half. When Beppe Frezza fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Voltre FC's protests and gave Beppe Frezza a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Voltre FC getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Beppe Frezza hit a great ball. After 80 minutes of play, Inter's Camillo Trotta made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Emanuele Raniolo was left in no man's land by his defense there! 85 minutes into the match, Inter's goal looked a bit too open when Enrico Lupi came free, but Dave Cancemi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 86 played minutes Inter got a freekick which was hit by Davide Contestabile. Camillo Trotta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anthony Lauri kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Attilio Di Ianni charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Attilio Di Ianni the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 96th match minute, Voltre FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Attilio Di Ianni to maneuver through the defense. Camillo Trotta struck a weak shot in the 97th minute.
