Campania FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bruno Sansoni was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Bruno Sansoni kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Dennis Toninelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruno Sansoni in the 11th minute of play. Eraldo Costantini might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dennis Toninelli. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eraldo Costantini ran back to his position shaking his head. Alberigo Tornese showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Beppe Salomone, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. In the 21st minute, Dino Prato left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rossoneri 4ever fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. With an all-out effort, Campania FC's Alberigo Tornese threw himself towards the right post 26 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Beppe Salomone, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Eraldo Costantini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dennis Toninelli having to interfere. Eraldo Costantini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Dennis Toninelli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 34 played minutes Campania FC got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Porcu. Dennis Toninelli came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Rossoneri 4ever's Fabiano Motta. But to his dismay, Fabiano Motta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. 46 minutes into the game, Campania FC's Carlo Epifani nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alberigo Tornese made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

In the 54th minute Camillo De Sisti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alberigo Tornese saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Beppe Salomone took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alberigo Tornese. Alberigo Tornese dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-4. Dennis Toninelli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Sansoni in the 65th minute of the match. In the 66th minute, Eraldo Costantini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dino De Matteis charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dino De Matteis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Dino De Matteis hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. After 74 played minutes, Campania FC's Cristiano Pellecchia shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Alberigo Tornese came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Campania FC reached it. Fabiano Motta scored 2-5 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dennis Toninelli, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Bruno Sansoni's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dennis Toninelli was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. Bruno Sansonis short, quick shot in the 83rdth minute got Dennis Toninelli to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Carlo Barberio hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Alberigo Tornese showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlo Epifani in the 85th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fortunato Attili got free with Dennis Toninelli in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Eraldo Costantini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 93rd minute Carlo Epifani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alberigo Tornese saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alberigo Tornese didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carlo Epifani went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-5 was the resulting score. When the match was over Rossoneri 4ever could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Campania FC throughout the match.
