Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dennis Vaiani's late challenge caught a Muradello's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dennis Vaiani helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to A.S. Marino Calcio getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Demetrio Nicolini hit a great ball. Anselmo Chitarroni was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Alvaro Di Massimo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferdinando Cucci in the 16th minute of play forced A.S. Marino Calcio's goalkeeper Anselmo Chitarroni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Alfredo Cavanna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anselmo Chitarroni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferdinando Cucci in the 21st minute of play. In the 23rdth minute of the game Domenico Di Lello who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Muradello's Demetrio Costacurta was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alfredo Cavanna took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Demetrio Costacurta. Demetrio Costacurta dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Filippo Fiori managed to get in a good position for a shot. A.S. Marino Calcio's supporters rose to their feet, but Filippo Fiori was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Demetrio Costacurta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 29 minutes, Alfredo Cavanna managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. A.S. Marino Calcio's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfredo Cavanna was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Demetrio Costacurta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredo Cavanna in the 32nd minute of play. Muradello's Demetrio Costacurta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filippo Fiori in the 39th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo Cavanna in the 41st minute of play forced Muradello's goalkeeper Demetrio Costacurta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Muradello's Demetrio Lucantoni got a free kick in the 41st minute. Demetrio Costacurta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Domenico Di Lello in the 42nd minute of the match. When Dennis Vaiani was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 43 minutes had been played. If Daniele Scarcella had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ferdinando Cucci made a kick off. In the 51st match minute, Muradello was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ferdinando Cucci to maneuver through the defense. Demetrio Costacurta stood somewhat misplaced when Alfredo Cavanna came free in front of goal and shot 0-2 to the left of him in the 53 minute. An unexpected shot in the 58th minute by Filippo Fiori got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Ferdinando Cucci scored 1-2 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Anselmo Chitarroni, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alfredo Cavanna during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in A.S. Marino Calcio fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 65th minute. Penalty! Ferdinando Cucci scored 3-2 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Anselmo Chitarroni, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 84th minute, Daniele Scarcella ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anselmo Chitarroni was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2.
