In the 13th minute, Eraldo Costantini reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Demetrio Costacurta. The goal made the score 1-1. Fabiano Motta took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Demetrio Costacurta. Demetrio Costacurta dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 18th match minute, Muradello was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enrico Taglieri to maneuver through the defense. Fabiano Motta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Bruno Sansoni came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Rossoneri 4ever fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bruno Sansoni couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Bruno Sansoni managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rossoneri 4ever's supporters rose to their feet, but Bruno Sansoni was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Demetrio Costacurta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Rossoneri 4ever booed when Muradello was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enrico Taglieri didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 35 played minutes Muradello got a freekick which was hit by Edmondo Polito. Fabiano Motta's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Demetrio Costacurta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. After some careless play in the Rossoneri 4ever defense, Demetrio Lucantoni kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alberigo Tornese. The Rossoneri 4ever fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alberigo Tornese should have stopped the shot. Rossoneri 4ever's Alberigo Tornese played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Demetrio Lucantoni in the 48th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

Eraldo Costantini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Demetrio Costacurta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Muradello getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Alex Battisti hit a great ball. In the 66th match minute, Rossoneri 4ever was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlo Bosso to maneuver through the defense. Demetrio Costacurta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Sansoni in the 70th minute of the match. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Muradello's goalkeeper Demetrio Costacurta, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Bruno Sansoni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Muradello's Demetrio Costacurta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabiano Motta in the 79th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 80 minutes, Bruno Sansoni put it in 3-2 from a short distance just to the right of Demetrio Costacurta. Alberigo Tornese showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ferdinando Cucci in the 85th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Muradello's Alvaro Di Massimo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Alberigo Tornese. That made the score 3-3 after 86 minutes of play. Eraldo Costantini might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Demetrio Costacurta. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eraldo Costantini ran back to his position shaking his head.
