Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Campania FC's Camillo De Sisti started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Dario Petrucci came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the VIS PESARO FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dario Petrucci couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, VIS PESARO FC's Eugenio Gentili got control of the ball when Carlo Epifani tried to sneak it across the goal line. Frank Miccoli hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Carlo Epifani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugenio Gentili having to interfere. Eugenio Gentili showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Camillo De Sisti, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 19th minute, Anthony Guaita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dennis Toninelli was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 25 minutes into the game, VIS PESARO FC's Anthony Guaita nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dennis Toninelli made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Eugenio Gentili made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Carlo Epifani sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Camillo De Sisti in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eugenio Gentili saved VIS PESARO FC from getting behind. Campania FC's Dennis Toninelli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Miccoli in the 35th minute of play. After 39 minutes of play, VIS PESARO FC's Anthony Guaita made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dennis Toninelli was left in no man's land by his defense there! 42 minutes into the game, Camillo De Sisti recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Eugenio Gentili. Camillo De Sisti showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3. Carlo Epifani took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eugenio Gentili. Eugenio Gentili dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-3. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dario Petrucci to strike the kick off in the second half. Dennis Toninelli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dario Petrucci in the 51st minute of the match. Anthony Guaita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 55 played minutes VIS PESARO FC got a freekick which was hit by Frank Miccoli. Cristiano Pellecchia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 58 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for VIS PESARO FC! The referee gave Campania FC a penalty, 60 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Camillo De Sisti, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of VIS PESARO FC's Eugenio Gentili. 4-4. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Camillo De Sisti in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eugenio Gentili prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd rose to their feet as VIS PESARO FC's Cristoforo Basile slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dennis Toninelli. That made the score 4-5 after 69 minutes of play. Camillo De Sisti kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Dennis Toninelli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dario Petrucci in the 75th minute of the match. 79 minutes into the match, VIS PESARO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Carlo Epifani came free, but Eugenio Gentili reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 80 played minutes VIS PESARO FC got a freekick which was hit by Frank Miccoli. Eugenio Gentili made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Camillo De Sisti in the 83rd minute of play. Eugenio Gentili didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Beppe Salomone went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-5 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the VIS PESARO FC defense, Cristiano Pellecchia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eugenio Gentili. The VIS PESARO FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eugenio Gentili should have stopped the shot. VIS PESARO FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
