Spectators: 7563 (Terracing: 5789, Seating: 1774, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Desiderio Aureo got the match started through his kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Desiderio Aureo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pescara calcio's supporters rose to their feet, but Desiderio Aureo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dennis Toninelli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dennis Toninelli didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Desiderio Aureo went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Camillo Serafini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlo Epifani in the 23rd minute of play. In the 30th minute of the match Pescara calcio got a corner. Campania FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Francesco De Toni ran over to the corner to take the kick. 33 minutes into the match, Campania FC's goal looked a bit too open when Desiderio Aureo came free, but Dennis Toninelli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Camillo De Sisti recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Flavio Vulcano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pescara calcio's supporters rose to their feet, but Flavio Vulcano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dennis Toninelli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 39 minutes into the game, Desiderio Aureo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dennis Toninelli. Desiderio Aureo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. Flavio Vulcano scored 4-0 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dennis Toninelli, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Pescara calcio's Arrigo Falone got a free kick in the 45th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Camillo De Sisti made a kick off. Pescara calcio's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Camillo De Sisti 52 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 4-1. 56 minutes into the match, Pescara calcio's Desiderio Aureo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dennis Toninelli narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Campania FC's Dennis Toninelli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Desiderio Aureo in the 57th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Desiderio Aureo in the 59th minute of play forced Campania FC's goalkeeper Dennis Toninelli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dennis Toninelli came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Pescara calcio's Desiderio Aureo. But to his dismay, Desiderio Aureo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. In the 65th minute Desiderio Aureo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dennis Toninelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dennis Toninelli stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Desiderio Aureo's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. If Flavio Vulcano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dennis Toninelli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Desiderio Aureo in the 74th minute of the match. After 77 played minutes Camillo De Sisti rounded Pescara calcio's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 5-2. After some careless play in the Campania FC defense, Desiderio Aureo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dennis Toninelli. The Campania FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dennis Toninelli should have stopped the shot. Alessandro Macchione made in the 84th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Carlo Epifani immediately put the ball in play. After a rather tough play, Pescara calcio's Carlo Lusi got a free kick in the 85th minute. In the 94th minute, Desiderio Aureo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pescara calcio fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-3.
