After a rather tough play, Muradello's Demetrio Lucantoni got a free kick in the 19th minute. If Dario Petrucci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Demetrio Lucantoni charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Demetrio Lucantoni the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Demetrio Costacurta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dario Petrucci in the 25th minute of the match. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edmondo Polito couldn't finish the play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dario Petrucci stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Anthony Guaita fell near the penalty area in the 50th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored VIS PESARO FC's protests and gave Anthony Guaita a yellow card for diving instead. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Demetrio Costacurta prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Daniele Scarcella sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee felt a red card was in order, 72 minutes into the game, when Alberigo Castronovo put in a rough tackle. 71 minutes into the game, one of VIS PESARO FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Demetrio Costacurta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for VIS PESARO FC. Daniele Scarcella kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. 84 minutes into the match, Muradello's goal looked a bit too open when Dario Petrucci came free, but Demetrio Costacurta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 88th minute, Cesare Petrini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A sloppy throw-in by Edmondo Polito in the 91st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by VIS PESARO FC's Anthony Guaita. After a defensive mix-up in Muradello's zone, Cesare Petrini stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Demetrio Costacurta came out of the goal and Cesare Petrini tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eugenio Gentili made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Daniele Scarcella sent off a good shot on target. For all the effort they put into the match, the Muradello players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for VIS PESARO FC.
