Spectators: 6787 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1771, VIP seats: 16) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Camillo De Sisti kicked off to start the match. In the 2nd minute, Filippo Fiori fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Dennis Toninelli, passed just outside the right post. After 3 minutes of play, A.S. Marino Calcio's Filippo Fiori made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dennis Toninelli was left in no man's land by his defense there! Amerigo Aversano charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Amerigo Aversano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 7th match minute, A.S. Marino Calcio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amerigo Aversano to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alfredo Cavanna got free with Dennis Toninelli in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Filippo Fiori's late challenge caught a Campania FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Filippo Fiori helped the player get up and apologised. In the 13th match minute, A.S. Marino Calcio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filippo Fiori to maneuver through the defense. Cristiano Pellecchia took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anselmo Chitarroni. Anselmo Chitarroni dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Beppe Salomone received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Anselmo Chitarroni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, A.S. Marino Calcio's Fabrizio Ferretti got a free kick in the 20th minute. Dennis Toninelli made an important save on a dangerous shot by Filippo Fiori in the 23rd minute. 26 minutes into the game, Fabrizio Ferretti was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. A.S. Marino Calcio's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Campania FC the free kick. Fabrizio Ferretti hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. When Camillo De Sisti came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Campania FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Camillo De Sisti couldn't finish the play. Anselmo Chitarroni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlo Epifani in the 29th minute of play. A collision led to Campania FC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Beppe Salomone hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alfredo Cavanna in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dennis Toninelli prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 33 minutes into the match, Domenico Di Lello had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dennis Toninelli. Campania FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Domenico Di Lello was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Anselmo Chitarroni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlo Epifani in the 38th minute of the match. Campania FC's Dennis Toninelli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Cavanna in the 40th minute of play. Dennis Toninelli was a little too slow when Alfredo Cavanna got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 43rd minute. The score was now 3-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

Alfredo Cavanna scored 4-1 in the 51st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dennis Toninelli, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 54 minutes into the match, Amerigo Aversano notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Campania FC's Dennis Toninelli. Dennis Toninelli was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 57 minutes into the match, Campania FC's goal looked a bit too open when Amerigo Aversano came free, but Dennis Toninelli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlo Epifani came free with the goalkeeper in the 59th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Anselmo Chitarroni could save by the left post. Campania FC's Dennis Toninelli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filippo Fiori in the 63rd minute of play. With a little luck, A.S. Marino Calcio's Anselmo Chitarroni got control of the ball when Carlo Epifani tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dennis Toninelli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amerigo Aversano in the 66th minute of the match. 67 minutes into the game, A.S. Marino Calcio's Filippo Fiori nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dennis Toninelli made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-1. Camillo De Sisti recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Camillo De Sisti in the 75th minute of play forced A.S. Marino Calcio's goalkeeper Anselmo Chitarroni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Camillo De Sisti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A.S. Marino Calcio were furious when Amerigo Aversano was red carded, 78 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Amerigo Aversano hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Anselmo Chitarroni came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Campania FC's Camillo De Sisti. But to his dismay, Camillo De Sisti quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-2. In the 87th minute of the match, Carlo Epifani got a very nice opportunity to score, but Anselmo Chitarroni was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After a rather tough play, Campania FC's Beppe Salomone got a free kick in the 88th minute. 91 minutes into the match, Campania FC's Camillo De Sisti sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anselmo Chitarroni narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 93 minutes of play, A.S. Marino Calcio's Domenico Di Lello made it 7-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dennis Toninelli was left in no man's land by his defense there! A.S. Marino Calcio's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
