Alvaro Moscatelli's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Enrico Di Carlo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, Vimodrone's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardo De Gregorio came free, but Enrico Di Carlo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 15 minutes, Bernardo De Gregorio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Devilteam's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernardo De Gregorio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alfonso De Angelis struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Corrado Imperatore didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vimodrone. 22 minutes into the match, Devilteam's goal looked a bit too open when Corrado Pasquale came free, but Corrado Imperatore reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Corrado Pasquale had several of the Devilteam's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 26 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Corrado Imperatore as he didn't even see the shot coming. 30 minutes into the match, Devilteam's goal looked a bit too open when Corrado Pasquale came free, but Corrado Imperatore reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alvaro Moscatelli blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Enrico Di Carlo having to make a save. In the 32ndth minute of the game Corrado Pasquale who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Devilteam's Corrado Imperatore was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Corrado Imperatore showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Corrado Pasquale in the 33rd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bernardo De Gregorio in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Enrico Di Carlo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 36th minute Corrado Pasquale shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Corrado Imperatore saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Alvaro Moscatelli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bernardo De Gregorio to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlo De Felice in the 56th minute of play forced Devilteam's goalkeeper Corrado Imperatore to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 57thth minute of the game Corrado Pasquale who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Devilteam's Corrado Imperatore was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 64th minute, Corrado Pasquale made a precise shot to the right of Corrado Imperatore. Devilteam's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. The supporters of Devilteam booed when Vimodrone was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristiano Fabri didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Bernardo De Gregorio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Devilteam's supporters rose to their feet, but Bernardo De Gregorio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Enrico Di Carlo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Corrado Pasquale struck a weak shot in the 87th minute.
