The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Antonello Di Iulio hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armin Cirone in the 4th minute of play forced Migliarina's goalkeeper Claudio Del Grosso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edmondo Cavallaro came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Migliarina's Antonello Di Iulio. But to his dismay, Antonello Di Iulio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Edmondo Cavallaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edoardo Costantini in the 14th minute of the match. In the 15th match minute, ISORELLE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fulvio De Palma to maneuver through the defense. When Migliarina's Antonello Di Iulio in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ISORELLE's goalie prevented a goal. Edmondo Cavallaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edoardo Costantini in the 17th minute of the match. Emiliano Meo hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. 23 minutes into the match, ISORELLE's goal looked a bit too open when Antonello Di Iulio came free, but Edmondo Cavallaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 25 minutes, Fabrizio Ciraci mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ISORELLE and the Migliarina players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, ISORELLE's Fabrizio Ciraci got a free kick in the 25th minute. Ferdinando Meo struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Edmondo Cavallaro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Migliarina. 28 minutes into the match, Migliarina's Fedele Bani sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edmondo Cavallaro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Ferdinando Meo came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Migliarina fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ferdinando Meo couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the ISORELLE defense, Edoardo Costantini kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edmondo Cavallaro. The ISORELLE fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edmondo Cavallaro should have stopped the shot. After 33 played minutes Migliarina got a freekick which was hit by Alfonso Serra. With a little luck, Migliarina's Claudio Del Grosso got control of the ball when Fulvio De Palma tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Ferdinando Meo came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Migliarina fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ferdinando Meo couldn't finish the play. After the first half Migliarina were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Edoardo Costantini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Edmondo Cavallaro made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Edoardo Costantini sent off a good shot on target. Edmondo Cavallaro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antonello Di Iulio, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. In the 65th minute Antonello Di Iulio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmondo Cavallaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ferdinando Meo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fedele Bani got free with Edmondo Cavallaro in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind ISORELLE's goalkeeper Edmondo Cavallaro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 73 minutes into the match, Antonello Di Iulio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edmondo Cavallaro. ISORELLE's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Antonello Di Iulio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. A collision led to Migliarina getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Fedele Bani hit a great ball. Claudio Del Grosso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fulvio De Palma, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 93 played minutes Migliarina got a freekick which was hit by Fabrizio Pich. Armin Cirone received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Claudio Del Grosso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Migliarina's Claudio Del Grosso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armin Cirone in the 96th minute of play. Migliarina's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
