Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Antonello Di Iulio to make the kick off. Davide Pompilio struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. In the 77thth minute of the game Ferdinando Meo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Capodimonte FC's Diego Tesone was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Carmine Citrullo's late challenge caught a Migliarina's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carmine Citrullo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 77th minute, Carmine Citrullo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dino Ciapponi hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. During the 92nd minute of the match Carmine Citrullo completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Carmine Citrullo a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 92 played minutes Capodimonte FC got a freekick which was hit by Carmine Citrullo. When Ferdinando Meo came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Migliarina fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ferdinando Meo couldn't finish the play. When Ferdinando Meo fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Migliarina's protests and gave Ferdinando Meo a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Migliarina getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Ferdinando Meo hit a great ball. In the 97th minute, Ferdinando Meo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Diego Tesone was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Migliarina fully deserved thier win.
