Ennio Tiburtini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabrizio Battisti in the 6th minute of the match. In the 8th minute of the match, Fabrizio Battisti tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ennio Tiburtini saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Bernardo Addari had several of the Fabbrico AFC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 10 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Ennio Tiburtini as he didn't even see the shot coming. Camillo Vitelli's late challenge caught a UC Stella Rossa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Camillo Vitelli helped the player get up and apologised. Camillo Vitelli hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Camillo Vitelli kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Ennio Tiburtini made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Bernardo Addari sent off a good shot on target. In the 37th minute, Andrea Marongiu fired a really elegant long shot, but Ennio Tiburtini threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. The supporters of UC Stella Rossa booed when Fabbrico AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Comunardo Santini didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bernardo Addari who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 41stth minute tested the skills of Ennio Tiburtini when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 41 minutes into the game, Alberto Marinacci was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fabbrico AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave UC Stella Rossa the free kick. The supporters of UC Stella Rossa booed when Fabbrico AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Marinacci didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 44th minute Fabrizio Battisti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ennio Tiburtini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fabbrico AFC's Camillo Vitelli got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 47th match minute, UC Stella Rossa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emiliano Mascia to maneuver through the defense. Ciccio Caroselli stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Beppe Bergomi's shot from short distance in the 49th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fabrizio Battisti was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th match minute, UC Stella Rossa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Corrado Carozza to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Fabbrico AFC booed when UC Stella Rossa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emiliano Mascia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Christian Pietrantoni recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ciccio Caroselli made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Beppe Bergomi sent off a good shot on target. Bianco Picca kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bernardo Addari in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ennio Tiburtini saved Fabbrico AFC from getting behind. Fabrizio Battisti struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Ennio Tiburtini didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for UC Stella Rossa. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fabrizio Battisti in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ennio Tiburtini saved Fabbrico AFC from getting behind. After 80 minutes, Cosimo Reggianini mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the UC Stella Rossa and the Fabbrico AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to UC Stella Rossa getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Cosimo Reggianini hit a great ball. Bernardo Addari received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Ennio Tiburtini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fabrizio Battisti in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ennio Tiburtini prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Fabrizio Battisti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 90 minutes, Fabrizio Battisti managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UC Stella Rossa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabrizio Battisti was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fabrizio Battisti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ennio Tiburtini having to interfere. In the 95th minute Bernardo Addari shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ennio Tiburtini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fabrizio Battisti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Ennio Tiburtini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. UC Stella Rossa had played much better football throughout.
