Ciro Scoca charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ciro Scoca the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a defensive mix-up in Baura's zone, Ernesto Gianfrancesco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dino Bernardi came out of the goal and Ernesto Gianfrancesco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Carugos getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Christian Taranto hit a great ball. Baura's Cristoforo Rondinelli got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Ferdinando Faieta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Baura defense, Ernesto Gianfrancesco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dino Bernardi. The Baura fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dino Bernardi should have stopped the shot. 37 minutes into the game, Ernesto Gianfrancesco cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Dino Bernardi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After the first half Carugos were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Baura's defense didn't have a chance, in the 57th minute, when Ferdinando Faieta scored to the left of an out of position Dino Bernardi, making the score, 0-3. A hard shot 69 in the game by Ferdinando Faieta from a close distance when the talented Dino Bernardi managed to make a qualified save. Baura's players were relieved. Carugos's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
