Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Alfonso Villani started the match with the kick off. Armin Grande hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Rivalta's Anfilogino Signori got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 13th minute, Amedeo Eleuteri made a precise shot to the right of Franco Palmucci. Rivalta's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 16th minute, Alex Graziani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alberigo Giordano got free with Adriano Di Lorenzo in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Anfilogino Signori sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, San Ferrini's Fortunato Manna got a free kick in the 23rd minute. The supporters of San Ferrini booed when Rivalta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anfilogino Signori didn't get a good kick on the ball. 27 minutes into the match, Rivalta's goal looked a bit too open when Alfonso Villani came free, but Franco Palmucci reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Franco Palmucci showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amedeo Eleuteri, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. In the 31st minute Anfilogino Signori shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adriano Di Lorenzo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Franco Palmucci made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amedeo Eleuteri in the 33rd minute of play. Franco Palmucci came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by San Ferrini's Amedeo Eleuteri. But to his dismay, Amedeo Eleuteri quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Anfilogino Signori received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Adriano Di Lorenzo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 40th minute Alfonso Villani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franco Palmucci saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Rivalta defense, Alfonso Villani kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Franco Palmucci. The Rivalta fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Franco Palmucci should have stopped the shot.

In the 54th minute, San Ferrini's Armin Grande dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. A collision led to San Ferrini getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Armin Grande hit a great ball. Adriano Di Lorenzo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Achille Chizzo, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Rivalta's Achille Chizzo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Camillo Gentili in the 65 minute of the game. Adriano Di Lorenzo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arturo Bardella in the 71st minute of the match. Franco Palmucci made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfonso Villani in the 72nd minute of play. Arturo Bardella kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. San Ferrini's Alfonso Villani got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 80 played minutes San Ferrini got a freekick which was hit by Dino Valletta. Dino Valletta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Franco Palmucci made a huge save. Adriano Di Lorenzo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberigo Giordano, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Adriano Di Lorenzo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberigo Giordano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
