Edmondo Cavallaro was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to ISORELLE getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Corrado Profeta hit a great ball. ISORELLE's Edmondo Cavallaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabrizio Battisti in the 13th minute of play. After a rather tough play, UC Stella Rossa's Christian Marzo got a free kick in the 26th minute. In the 30thth minute of the game Fabrizio Battisti who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ISORELLE's Edmondo Cavallaro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 31st minute Bernardo Addari shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmondo Cavallaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edmondo Cavallaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabrizio Battisti in the 43rd minute of play forced ISORELLE's goalkeeper Edmondo Cavallaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th minute, Armin Cirone reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ciccio Caroselli. The goal made the score 2-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Armin Cirone stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fulvio De Palma in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ciccio Caroselli saved UC Stella Rossa from getting behind. Edmondo Cavallaro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabrizio Battisti, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Corrado Carozza got free with Edmondo Cavallaro in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 60th minute of the match, Corrado Carozza got a very nice opportunity to score, but Edmondo Cavallaro was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Bernardo Addari received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Edmondo Cavallaro came out and tried to block the shot, but Bernardo Addari slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 63rd minute. With his leg Edmondo Cavallaro managed to avoid a goal in the 66thth minute, when UC Stella Rossa's Bernardo Addari fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Fulvio De Palma had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabrizio Battisti in the 78th minute of play forced ISORELLE's goalkeeper Edmondo Cavallaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edmondo Cavallaro made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Corrado Carozza sent off a good shot on target. ISORELLE's Fulvio De Palma got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bernardo Addari sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edmondo Cavallaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabrizio Battisti in the 91st minute of play. In the 96th minute, Armin Cirone made a precise shot to the right of Ciccio Caroselli. UC Stella Rossa's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2.
