Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Anfilogino Signori got the match started through his kick off. After 3 minutes, Alessandro Leggeri mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rivalta and the Capodimonte FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Rivalta getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Alessandro Leggeri hit a great ball. Anfilogino Signori recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rivalta's Franco Palmucci played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Davide Pompilio in the 8th minute of play. In the 12th minute, Alberigo Giordano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Diego Tesone was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Franco Palmucci was a little too slow when Carmine Citrullo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 22nd minute. The score was now 1-1. In the 25th minute, Carmine Citrullo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aurelio Borgatello could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Franco Palmucci made a huge save. Dino Ciapponi hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Diego Tesone showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberigo Giordano, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Dino Ciapponi's late challenge caught a Rivalta's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dino Ciapponi helped the player get up and apologised. In the 36th minute, Dino Ciapponi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 39 minutes into the match, Eraldo Santarelli had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Franco Palmucci. Rivalta's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eraldo Santarelli was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Diego Tesone took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arturo Bardella, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Davide Pompilio during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 46 played minutes Davide Pompilio rounded Rivalta's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-1.

Rivalta's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Franco Palmucci showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Davide Pompilio in the 85th minute of the match. Anfilogino Signori shot the penalty kick right outside the post. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Capodimonte FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Rivalta had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
