Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Anfilogino Signori took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 6th minute of the match, Alberigo Giordano got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ennio Tiburtini was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After having played for 8 minutes, Alberigo Giordano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rivalta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alberigo Giordano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Franco Palmucci showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christian Pietrantoni in the 10th minute of the match. If Anfilogino Signori had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 16 minutes into the match, Rivalta's goal looked a bit too open when Christian Pietrantoni came free, but Franco Palmucci reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alberigo Giordano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ennio Tiburtini having to interfere. When Camillo Vitelli fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fabbrico AFC's protests and gave Camillo Vitelli a yellow card for diving instead. Camillo Vitelli kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. After 27 minutes of play, Fabbrico AFC's Christian Pietrantoni made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Franco Palmucci was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 30th minute of the match Fortunato Menichini shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Franco Palmucci showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Alberigo Giordano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Ennio Tiburtini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rivalta's Anfilogino Signori got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 36 minutes, Alberigo Giordano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rivalta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alberigo Giordano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 37th minute, Fortunato Menichini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anfilogino Signori sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Alberigo Giordano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Ennio Tiburtini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Anfilogino Signori had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Christian Pietrantoni to make the kick off. In the 51st match minute, Rivalta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Augusto Pollastrini to maneuver through the defense. Ennio Tiburtini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberigo Giordano in the 61st minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Anfilogino Signori managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rivalta's supporters rose to their feet, but Anfilogino Signori was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ennio Tiburtini breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eugenio Pozzo lost his temper 67 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 67 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Rivalta! Ennio Tiburtini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anfilogino Signori, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Armando Gallucci sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Fabbrico AFC's Alberto Marinacci got a free kick in the 84th minute. Rivalta's Franco Palmucci played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Pietrantoni in the 94th minute of play. When Christian Pietrantoni, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 96 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Franco Palmucci was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Rivalta's Franco Palmucci played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Beppe Bergomi in the 97th minute of play. Chants of Fabbrico AFC echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Rivalta had held the ball for most of the match.
