Anfilogino Frabetti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberigo Cicchetti in the 10th minute of play. Alberigo Cicchetti recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Francesco Dominici had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anfilogino Frabetti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Corrado Ricciuti in the 17th minute of play. Ciccio Mantini kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Corrado Ricciuti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anfilogino Frabetti having to interfere. In the 37th minute, Anthony Di Nucci hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Concetto Mastrocola was the one to do the kick off. If Concetto Mastrocola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Fc Fenix's Ernesto De Francesco got a free kick in the 55th minute. Anfilogino Frabetti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ermanno Marsilio, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. 70 minutes into the game, Filippo Moschetta was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fc Fenix's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Alessandria FC the free kick. Concetto Mastrocola struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Carter Corvi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fc Fenix. Concetto Mastrocola received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Carter Corvi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Fc Fenix booed when Alessandria FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ferruccio Boldrini didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anfilogino Frabetti made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alberigo Cicchetti in the 97th minute. Alessandria FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
