Ciro Lo Iacono was left in no man's land by his defense there! The A.S. MANFREDONIA fans' excitement grew in the 6th match minute when A.S. MANFREDONIA's Bogomil Gúrbuzanov looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Youri Theunissen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlo Belfiore, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Raffaele Rhinow recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Zakariás Pálffy managed to get in a good position for a shot. A.S. MANFREDONIA's supporters rose to their feet, but Zakariás Pálffy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ciro Lo Iacono breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 18 minutes had been played when some careless play by Taleacotium's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Raffaele Rhinow was slow to take the kick. During this time A.S. MANFREDONIA's players had a chance to rest. A well-hit corner resulted in Fulvio Pinti heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. A.S. MANFREDONIA's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Raffaele Rhinow in the 22nd minute. Youri Theunissen made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Ciro Melfi sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Raffaele Rhinow managed to get in a good position for a shot. A.S. In the 31st minute, Emiliano Stragapede got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Jonathan Johansson put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Ciro Lo Iacono. The supporters of A.S. MANFREDONIA booed when Taleacotium was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruno Caroselli didn't get a good kick on the ball. Raffaele Rhinow struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Ciro Lo Iacono didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for A.S. MANFREDONIA. Ciro Lo Iacono tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ciro Lo Iacono showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonathan Johansson, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Ciro Lo Iacono stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zakariás Pálffy's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. Youri Theunissen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carlo Belfiore's shot from short distance in the 48th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jonathan Johansson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Emanuel Odol got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Raffaele Rhinow sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 58 minutes into the game, Jonathan Johansson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ciro Lo Iacono. Jonathan Johansson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. Youri Theunissen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlo Belfiore in the 62nd minute of play. 74 minutes into the game, Augusto Mansueto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Taleacotium's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave A.S. MANFREDONIA the free kick. After a rather tough play, Taleacotium's Augusto Mansueto got a free kick in the 74th minute. 75 minutes into the match, A.S. MANFREDONIA's Zakariás Pálffy shot a high long ball. Taleacotium's goalkeeper was lucky when the ball hit the right post and out. Ciro Lo Iacono took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonathan Johansson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zakariás Pálffy was extremely unlucky when he, in the 79th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. If Hendrik de Lange had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Zakariás Pálffy took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ciro Lo Iacono. Ciro Lo Iacono dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. In the 86th minute, A.S. MANFREDONIA's Zakariás Pálffy ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ciro Lo Iacono. Ciro Lo Iacono yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-8. An unexpected shot in the 89th minute by Jonathan Johansson got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Ciro Lo Iacono made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Zakariás Pálffy sent off a good shot on target. Zakariás Pálffy could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Ciro Lo Iacono made a huge save. Filippo Sessa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ciro Lo Iacono read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. A.S. MANFREDONIA's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
