Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Biagio Crognale started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Laganadi's goalkeeper Enrico Petricca had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Beppe Cianci. When Alberigo La Marca fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Moracchino's protests and gave Alberigo La Marca a yellow card for diving instead. When Carter Feliziani fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Laganadi's protests and gave Carter Feliziani a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Laganadi's Carter Feliziani got a free kick in the 8th minute. Biagio Crognale received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Enrico Petricca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fortunato Gerosa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Enrico Petricca made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Beppe Cianci sent off a good shot on target. In the 20th minute, Emilio Stragapede left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Laganadi fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 23rd minute Biagio Crognale shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enrico Petricca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Fortunato Gerosa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Laganadi's supporters rose to their feet, but Fortunato Gerosa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Florian Trotta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fortunato Gerosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Florian Trotta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Florian Trotta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emilio Stragapede in the 38th minute of the match. Laganadi's Enrico Petricca proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Laganadi from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the Laganadi defense, Beppe Cianci kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Enrico Petricca. The Laganadi fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Enrico Petricca should have stopped the shot. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Emilio Stragapede to make the kick off. Laganadi's Emilio Stragapede was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 54th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Emilio Stragapede sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 60th match minute, Moracchino was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberigo La Marca to maneuver through the defense. When Beppe Cianci came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Moracchino fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Beppe Cianci couldn't finish the play. Florian Trotta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emilio Stragapede in the 71st minute of play. In the 77th minute, Laganadi's Emilio Stragapede ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Florian Trotta. Florian Trotta yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. In the 86th match minute, Laganadi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carmine Bernardi to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Laganadi's Emilio Stragapede slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Florian Trotta. That made the score 1-4 after 90 minutes of play. Fortunato Gerosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
