Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Emilio Stragapede got the match started through his kick off. U.C. Sampdoria's Bogumil Wieloch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Demetrio Attili in the 3rd minute of play. Enrico Petricca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristiano Piretti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Adriano Mangione fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored U.C. After 18 played minutes Laganadi got a freekick which was hit by Carter Feliziani. Fortunato Gerosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bogumil Wieloch having to interfere. When Fortunato Gerosa came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Laganadi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fortunato Gerosa couldn't finish the play. Ennio Ciscato hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Bogumil Wieloch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emilio Stragapede in the 32nd minute of play. Fortunato Gerosa in the 33rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Bogumil Wieloch, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Bogumil Wieloch showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emilio Stragapede, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. After a defensive mix-up in U.C. Sampdoria's zone, Emilio Stragapede stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bogumil Wieloch came out of the goal and Emilio Stragapede tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Fortunato Gerosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 47th minute, Cristiano Piretti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

U.C. Sampdoria's Cristiano Piretti got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 54 minutes, Alessandro Cruciani mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Laganadi and the U.C. Sampdoria players grew even worse after the yellow card. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fortunato Gerosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bogumil Wieloch having to interfere. In the 77th minute, Adriano Mangione hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Fortunato Gerosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carter Feliziani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bogumil Wieloch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Laganadi had played much better football throughout.
