Spectators: 7669 (Terracing: 5752, Seating: 1764, VIP seats: 153) Edmondo Bartolucci started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After having played for 6 minutes, Alfredo De Marchi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vespolate's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfredo De Marchi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Andrea Rossetti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Beppe Liaci having to interfere. In the 9th minute Frank Fabrizi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yavuz Bülent Çağan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andrea Rossetti came free with the goalkeeper in the 11th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Beppe Liaci could save by the left post. Beppe Liaci didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Andrea Rossetti went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 18th minute, Frank Fabrizi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vespolate fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. The supporters of ZeNiT CaSe Di MaLo booed when Vespolate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfredo De Marchi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fabiano Micucci could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Beppe Liaci made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in ZeNiT CaSe Di MaLo's zone, Edmondo Domenghini stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yavuz Bülent Çağan came out of the goal and Edmondo Domenghini tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Beppe Liaci made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Andrea Rossetti sent off a good shot on target. Vespolate's Edmondo Domenghini got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Frank Fabrizi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yavuz Bülent Çağan having to interfere. When Alfredo De Marchi came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Vespolate fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfredo De Marchi couldn't finish the play. After the first half Vespolate were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Frank Fabrizi to make the kick off. Through an outstanding action, after 54 minutes, Yavuz Bülent Çağan successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Alfredo De Marchi scored 1-3 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Yavuz Bülent Çağan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmondo Bartolucci in the 69th minute of play forced Vespolate's goalkeeper Beppe Liaci to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fabiano Micucci hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. If Edmondo Domenghini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edmondo Bartolucci recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Andrea Rossetti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrea Rossetti in the 88th minute of play forced Vespolate's goalkeeper Beppe Liaci to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 90 minutes into the match, Edmondo Bartolucci had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Beppe Liaci. Vespolate's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edmondo Bartolucci was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. Alfredo De Marchi charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alfredo De Marchi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When the match was over Vespolate could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than ZeNiT CaSe Di MaLo throughout the match.
