Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Ciccio Lo Iacono started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Fabiano Silveri kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. After having played for 6 minutes, Ciccio Lo Iacono managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. USD Cavese's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ciccio Lo Iacono was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cristoforo Antonacci received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Augusto Bonfigli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 12 minutes into the match, USD Cavese's goal looked a bit too open when Ennio Cavallaro came free, but Augusto Bonfigli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. USD Cavese's Augusto Bonfigli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ennio Cavallaro in the 16th minute of play. Alberigo Taurino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Alessandro La Marca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciccio Lo Iacono in the 20th minute of play forced Zula FC's goalkeeper Alessandro La Marca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 24 played minutes Zula FC got a freekick which was hit by Fabiano Silveri. Augusto Bonfigli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ennio Cavallaro in the 28th minute of play. When Zula FC's Cristoforo Antonacci in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye USD Cavese's goalie prevented a goal. The audience was convinced that Ennio Cavallaro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Augusto Bonfigli was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. Augusto Bonfigli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ennio Cavallaro, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Ennio Cavallaro scored 0-1 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Augusto Bonfigli, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ennio Cavallaro made a kick off. Emanuele Caccavale's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Augusto Bonfigli read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. 60 minutes into the game, Achille Terrasi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. USD Cavese's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Zula FC the free kick. After 60 played minutes USD Cavese got a freekick which was hit by Achille Terrasi. Alex Pellegrini recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ermanno Battisti's late challenge caught a USD Cavese's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ermanno Battisti helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Zula FC's Ermanno Battisti got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Ermanno Battisti took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Augusto Bonfigli. Augusto Bonfigli dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. When Cristoforo Antonacci came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Zula FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristoforo Antonacci couldn't finish the play. Cristoforo Antonacci received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Augusto Bonfigli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 96th minute, Cristoforo Antonacci left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Zula FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3.
