In the 11th minute Flavio Crispino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wawrzyniec Bochinski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antonello Fantini in the 13th minute of play forced Cantonazzo FC's goalkeeper Arturo Nelli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Antonello Fantini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arturo Nelli having to interfere. 17 minutes into the match, Emiliano Facchini had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arturo Nelli. Cantonazzo FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emiliano Facchini was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. 21 minutes into the match, Cantonazzo FC's goalkeeper Arturo Nelli had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jonathan Chalk. Armin Mussi hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. After 26 minutes, Flavio Crispino made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. Stracciaroli's Wawrzyniec Bochinski tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Through an outstanding action, after 30 minutes, Arturo Nelli successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 32nd minute Jonathan Chalk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arturo Nelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Antonello Fantini kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Arturo Nelli. That made the score 3-2 in the 36 minute of play. Wawrzyniec Bochinski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flavio Crispino in the 40th minute of play. After 42 played minutes Stracciaroli got a freekick which was hit by Cristiano Negrini. The audience was convinced that Flavio Crispino's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wawrzyniec Bochinski was relentless in the 44th minute of the game.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Flavio Crispino to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Cantonazzo FC got a freekick which was hit by Andrea Di Tommaso. Armin Mussi was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 53rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. With his leg Wawrzyniec Bochinski managed to avoid a goal in the 56thth minute, when Cantonazzo FC's Flavio Crispino fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 57th minute, Antonello Fantini left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Stracciaroli fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Flavio Crispino in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wawrzyniec Bochinski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Antonello Fantini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Arturo Nelli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arturo Nelli didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Stracciaroli's Antonello Fantini shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 5-2 in the ordered_time% minute. The referee felt a red card was in order, 84 minutes into the game, when Frank Colagrossi put in a rough tackle. After 83 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Stracciaroli! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Flavio Crispino in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wawrzyniec Bochinski saved Stracciaroli from getting behind. Cantonazzo FC's Arturo Nelli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonathan Chalk in the 92nd minute of play. In the 96th match minute, Stracciaroli was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emiliano Facchini to maneuver through the defense. Alessio Di Mascio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wawrzyniec Bochinski having to make a save. For all the effort they put into the match, the Cantonazzo FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Stracciaroli.
