After a rather tough play, MegaraEblea FC's Alvise Patrizi got a free kick in the 13th minute. The audience was convinced that Ciccio Lo Iacono's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Camillo Trinca was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, USD Cavese's Emilio Di Nucci got a free kick in the 20th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Davide Raniolo managed to get in a good position for a shot. After 37 played minutes USD Cavese got a freekick which was hit by Alex Pellegrini. If Ernesto Prandini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. But to his dismay, Ernesto Prandini quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Bruno Cellucci sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Alessio Barchiesi came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the MegaraEblea FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alessio Barchiesi couldn't finish the play. Alvise Patrizi might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Augusto Bonfigli. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alvise Patrizi ran back to his position shaking his head. When Franco Mei fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored USD Cavese's protests and gave Franco Mei a yellow card for diving instead. Franco Mei kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Alessio Barchiesi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ciccio Lo Iacono's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Camillo Trinca read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. 94 minutes into the game, MegaraEblea FC's Alessio Barchiesi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Augusto Bonfigli made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. MegaraEblea FC fully deserved thier win.
