Spectators: 7673 (Terracing: 5755, Seating: 1765, VIP seats: 153) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Stamatis Mitrakis started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Trento's Armando Ciscato got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Cristoforo Trinca took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 3rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Donato Nazzaro. Trento's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A collision led to Orvieto Libertade getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuele Piccinini in the 16th minute of play forced Trento's goalkeeper Donato Nazzaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Donato Nazzaro came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Orvieto Libertade's Stamatis Mitrakis. But to his dismay, Stamatis Mitrakis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 22nd minute Armando Di Febo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Augusto Valeri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arturo Angelucci sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Augusto Valeri managed to avoid a goal in the 26thth minute, when Trento's Arturo Angelucci fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Emanuele Piccinini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Donato Nazzaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Donato Nazzaro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stamatis Mitrakis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Amedeo Di Sante was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 35 minutes into the match. Amedeo Di Sante kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. 38 minutes into the game, Emanuele Piccinini cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Donato Nazzaro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 41 played minutes Trento got a freekick which was hit by Bernardo Alleva. After recieving a nice pass, Orvieto Libertade's Emanuele Piccinini tried to score from far away in the 42nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Emanuele Piccinini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Donato Nazzaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Armando Di Febo to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Orvieto Libertade was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stamatis Mitrakis to maneuver through the defense. Comunardo Falone's late challenge caught a Orvieto Libertade's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Comunardo Falone helped the player get up and apologised. Comunardo Falone kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Arturo Marchetti kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. 59 minutes into the match, Orvieto Libertade's goal looked a bit too open when Armando Di Febo came free, but Augusto Valeri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 60th match minute, Orvieto Libertade was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristoforo Trinca to maneuver through the defense. Comunardo Falone kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. In the 62nd minute, Fausto De Laurentiis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Trento defense, Emanuele Piccinini kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Donato Nazzaro. The Trento fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Donato Nazzaro should have stopped the shot. In the 79th minute Armando Di Febo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Augusto Valeri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 85th minute, İsmail Cem Hafız hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Orvieto Libertade had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
