An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuele Piccinini in the 3rd minute of play forced Geo AFC's goalkeeper Demetrio Giovannelli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Orvieto Libertade's Augusto Valeri proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Orvieto Libertade from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Orvieto Libertade booed when Geo AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carter Mazza didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alessandro Riso in the 19th minute of play forced Orvieto Libertade's goalkeeper Augusto Valeri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19th match minute, Orvieto Libertade was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amedeo Di Sante to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Geo AFC booed when Orvieto Libertade was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stamatis Mitrakis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Orvieto Libertade's Augusto Valeri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmondo Toccaceli in the 32nd minute of play. Orvieto Libertade's Emanuele Piccinini got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Stamatis Mitrakis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Demetrio Giovannelli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 44 played minutes Geo AFC got a freekick which was hit by Alessandro Riso. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

52 minutes into the match, Amos Massaro notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Orvieto Libertade's Augusto Valeri. Augusto Valeri was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alessandro Riso in the 56th minute of play forced Orvieto Libertade's goalkeeper Augusto Valeri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Demetrio Giovannelli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stamatis Mitrakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. If Stamatis Mitrakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stamatis Mitrakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Demetrio Giovannelli having to interfere. When Stamatis Mitrakis came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Orvieto Libertade fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stamatis Mitrakis couldn't finish the play. Augusto Valeri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carter Mazza in the 77th minute of play. After 80 minutes, Alfredo Vespa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Geo AFC and the Orvieto Libertade players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 80th minute, one of Geo AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Geo AFC. After 85 minutes of play, Orvieto Libertade's Emanuele Piccinini made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Demetrio Giovannelli was left in no man's land by his defense there! Demetrio Giovannelli was a little too slow when Stamatis Mitrakis got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 90th minute. The score was now 2-3. After a rather tough play, Orvieto Libertade's Amedeo Di Sante got a free kick in the 94th minute. 96 minutes into the match, Orvieto Libertade's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredo Vespa came free, but Augusto Valeri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Geo AFC's Demetrio Giovannelli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 98th minute of the match, managed to save Geo AFC from getting a goal against them. Orvieto Libertade's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
