Bianco Cesareo hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. 11 minutes into the match, Reality Dream's goal looked a bit too open when Claudio Di Palma came free, but Corrado De Luca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Corrado De Luca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudio Di Palma, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Corrado De Luca didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniele Falcone went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. A collision led to Reality Dream getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Ermanno Petricca hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felice Faiella in the 27th minute of play forced Reality Dream's goalkeeper Corrado De Luca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Corrado De Luca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alvaro Ursini, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Daniele Falcone charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Daniele Falcone the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Reality Dream's Bianco Cesareo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Anfilogino Flamini, made in the 43rd minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Poggibonsi's zone, Augusto Napoleoni stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ettore De Lorenzi came out of the goal and Augusto Napoleoni tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Reality Dream defense, Anfilogino Flamini kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Corrado De Luca. The Reality Dream fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Corrado De Luca should have stopped the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Augusto Napoleoni to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Poggibonsi's Fulvio Grimaldi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Corrado De Luca. Corrado De Luca yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. A collision led to Reality Dream getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Ettore Guerini hit a great ball. Bianco Cesareo hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Ettore De Lorenzi came out of the goal and Corrado Nasuti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 66 minutes into the game, Claudio Di Palma recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Corrado De Luca. Claudio Di Palma showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. When Anfilogino Flamini fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Poggibonsi's protests and gave Anfilogino Flamini a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Poggibonsi getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Anfilogino Flamini hit a great ball. In the 73rd minute Augusto Napoleoni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ettore De Lorenzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ettore Guerini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Ettore De Lorenzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 78 minutes into the game, Poggibonsi's Claudio Di Palma nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Corrado De Luca made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. A collision led to Poggibonsi getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Daniele Falcone hit a great ball. In the 83rd minute, Fulvio Grimaldi reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Corrado De Luca. The goal made the score 0-7. Reality Dream's Corrado De Luca proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Reality Dream from getting a goal against them. When Fedele Flamini fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Poggibonsi's protests and gave Fedele Flamini a yellow card for diving instead. After 94 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Poggibonsi! Ermanno Petricca took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ettore De Lorenzi. Ettore De Lorenzi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-7. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Poggibonsi had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
