If Ettore Leoni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 29 minutes into the game, Bernardo Di Francesco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. F.C BONZI RULEZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Scampetto FC the free kick. The supporters of Scampetto FC booed when F.C BONZI RULEZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardo Di Francesco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ettore Leoni took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aurelio Mazzone. Aurelio Mazzone dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After having played for 38 minutes, Alvaro Riva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. F.C BONZI RULEZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alvaro Riva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 44 minutes into the match, Scampetto FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ettore Leoni came free, but Aurelio Mazzone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Christian Pazienza was the one to do the kick off. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Alvaro Riva took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Aurelio Mazzone to make any attempt to save it. Ettore Leoni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Aurelio Mazzone tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aurelio Mazzone made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ettore Leoni in the 63rd minute. If Alvaro Riva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 68 minutes, Ettore Leoni managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ettore Leoni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aurelio Mazzone having to interfere. After having played for 83 minutes, Fortunato Romagnoli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Scampetto FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fortunato Romagnoli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
