The tension between the Scampetto FC and the San Michele players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 3rd minute, Christian Pazienza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aurelio Mazzone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anfilogino Scutti in the 10th minute of play. If Anfilogino Scutti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Scampetto FC's Aurelio Mazzone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anfilogino Scutti in the 15th minute of play. 16 minutes into the game, Fortunato Romagnoli was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Scampetto FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave San Michele the free kick. In the 16th minute, Fortunato Romagnoli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Scampetto FC's Fortunato Romagnoli got a free kick in the 35th minute. Aurelio Mazzone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anfilogino Scutti in the 38th minute of play. Davide Prandini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 46 minutes into the match, Scampetto FC's goal looked a bit too open when Edmondo Piccini came free, but Aurelio Mazzone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

When Edmondo Piccini came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the San Michele fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edmondo Piccini couldn't finish the play. Enrico Borgatello made a great header on San Michele's corner, it was just that Scampetto FC's Aurelio Mazzone managed to reach the ball for a save. A collision led to Scampetto FC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Fabio Arioli hit a great ball. Edmondo Piccini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aurelio Mazzone having to interfere. In the 77th minute, Edmondo Piccini left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The San Michele fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. In the 87thth minute of the game Edmondo Piccini who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Scampetto FC's Aurelio Mazzone was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Anfilogino Scutti blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aurelio Mazzone having to make a save. San Michele's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
