Poggibonsi's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Eagles the free kick. Anfilogino Flamini kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. When Daniele Falcone fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Poggibonsi's protests and gave Daniele Falcone a yellow card for diving instead. After 40 played minutes Poggibonsi got a freekick which was hit by Daniele Falcone. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 88 minutes into the game, Fedele Flamini was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Poggibonsi's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Eagles the free kick. In the 87th minute, one of Poggibonsi:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Poggibonsi. The supporters of Poggibonsi booed when Eagles was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armin Primavera didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bianco Bolli made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fulvio Grimaldi in the 93rd minute. Bianco Bolli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberigo Lelli in the 95th minute of the match.
