Alessandro Patricelli charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alessandro Patricelli the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Solarolo getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Alessandro Patricelli hit a great ball. In the 6th minute Davide Ricciuti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bianco Curti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Solarolo's zone, Andrea Gelsomini stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bianco Curti came out of the goal and Andrea Gelsomini tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fausto Ceci took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniele Fulgenzi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bianco Curti stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Davide Ricciuti's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. Due Sicilie's Carlo Bianco managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Augusto Nardone in the 19 minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Davide Ricciuti in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bianco Curti prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Solarolo's zone, Andrea Gelsomini stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bianco Curti came out of the goal and Andrea Gelsomini tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Davide Ricciuti fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Due Sicilie's protests and gave Davide Ricciuti a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Due Sicilie's Davide Ricciuti got a free kick in the 26th minute. Fausto Ceci made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ennio Facchetti in the 31st minute. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Daniele Fulgenzi took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Fausto Ceci to make any attempt to save it. In the 43rd minute, Daniele Fulgenzi reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Fausto Ceci. The goal made the score 2-0. 47 minutes into the match, Solarolo's goal looked a bit too open when Davide Ricciuti came free, but Bianco Curti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Davide Ricciuti to make the kick off. After some careless play in the Due Sicilie defense, Augusto Nardone kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fausto Ceci. The Due Sicilie fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fausto Ceci should have stopped the shot. Carlo Bianco struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Bianco Curti didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Due Sicilie. In the 59th minute, Davide Ricciuti made a precise shot to the right of Bianco Curti. Solarolo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Fausto Ceci made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniele Fulgenzi in the 64th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Solarolo's zone, Carlo Bianco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bianco Curti came out of the goal and Carlo Bianco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 69 minutes, Davide Ricciuti managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Due Sicilie's supporters crossed their fingers, but Davide Ricciuti was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ennio Facchetti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fausto Ceci having to interfere. When Daniele Fulgenzi came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Solarolo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniele Fulgenzi couldn't finish the play. Carlo Bianco kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Ennio Facchetti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fausto Ceci having to interfere. Andrea Gelsomini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bianco Curti having to interfere. Ennio Facchetti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Fausto Ceci tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bianco Curti made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Davide Ricciuti sent off a good shot on target. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Solarolo's goalkeeper Bianco Curti, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 95th match minute, Solarolo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alessandro Patricelli to maneuver through the defense.
