Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Federico Ruggieri started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Fausto Ceci took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anselmo Di Fabrizio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Achille Avesani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Fausto Ceci tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 18 minutes into the game, Cristiano Brandolini was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Due Sicilie's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave F.C. Partenope the free kick. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Due Sicilie's goalkeeper Fausto Ceci, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 26th minute, Davide Ricciuti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Davide Ricciutis short, quick shot in the 32ndth minute got Emanuele Liberatore to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Federico Ruggieri in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fausto Ceci prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Due Sicilie's zone, Achille Avesani stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fausto Ceci came out of the goal and Achille Avesani tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of F.C. Partenope booed when Due Sicilie was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ettore De Angelis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Due Sicilie's Fausto Ceci played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Federico Ruggieri in the 43rd minute of play. Cristiano Brandolini kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match.

The crowd rose to their feet as Federico Ruggieri kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fausto Ceci. That made the score 0-1 in the 52 minute of play. Due Sicilie's Fausto Ceci proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Due Sicilie from getting a goal against them. 59 minutes into the match, F.C. Partenope's Enzo Righi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fausto Ceci narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Federico Ruggieris short, quick shot in the 63rdth minute got Fausto Ceci to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 68th minute, Anselmo Di Fabrizio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alfredo Petricca hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. After 73 played minutes Due Sicilie got a freekick which was hit by Davide Ricciuti. In the 74thth minute of the game Federico Ruggieri who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Due Sicilie's Fausto Ceci was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Due Sicilie's Davide Ricciuti got a free kick in the 75th minute. Diego Bergomi kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. F.C. Partenope's Domenico Testi couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 77th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Due Sicilie. With a little luck, Due Sicilie's Fausto Ceci got control of the ball when Enzo Righi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Achille Avesani kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Federico Ruggieri got free with Fausto Ceci in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Carlo Bianco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Emanuele Liberatore tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 88thth minute of the game Federico Ruggieri who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Due Sicilie's Fausto Ceci was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Davide Ricciuti charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Davide Ricciuti the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 95th minute Federico Ruggieri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fausto Ceci saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. F.C. Partenope's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
