When Ettore Cerrone came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Augusta Taurinorum fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ettore Cerrone couldn't finish the play. In the 14th minute Edmondo Cassone shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ubaldo Matildo Shitta-Bay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Edmondo Cassone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alessandro Tripodi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Limito booed when Augusta Taurinorum was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fulvio Bondi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ubaldo Matildo Shitta-Bay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Corrado Piacente in the 68th minute of the match. In the 71st match minute, Limito was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberto Manna to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 74 minutes, Corrado Piacente managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Corrado Piacente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Augusta Taurinorum's Corrado Piacente got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 94th minute, Anselmo Di Pasquale hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ubaldo Matildo Shitta-Bay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmondo Cassone in the 96th minute of play. Augusta Taurinorum's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
