After a defensive mix-up in Campogalliano's zone, Adriano Colagrossi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anselmo Orsini came out of the goal and Adriano Colagrossi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Armin Gianfrancesco in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fedele Di Lullo saved Roccalvecce AFC from getting behind. After 16 played minutes Roccalvecce AFC got a freekick which was hit by Andrea Di Sipio. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fabio Giannotti in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fedele Di Lullo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Armin Gianfrancesco hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Amedeo Minichiello hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Roccalvecce AFC's Concetto Giordani got a free kick in the 25th minute. Anselmo Orsini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ettore Juliano, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. In the 29th minute Fabio Giannotti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fedele Di Lullo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adriano Colagrossi might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anselmo Orsini. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Adriano Colagrossi ran back to his position shaking his head. Roccalvecce AFC's Ettore Juliano was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 33rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Adriano Colagrossi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Anselmo Orsini made a huge save. In the 40th minute, Frank Piccoli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Corrado Piermattei during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 44 played minutes Campogalliano got a freekick which was hit by Corrado Piermattei. 46 minutes in the game, Ettore Juliano dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. During the 47th minute of the match Corrado Piermattei completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Corrado Piermattei a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, Campogalliano's Corrado Piermattei got a free kick in the 48th minute. Anselmo Orsini made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adriano Colagrossi in the 50th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ettore Juliano to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute Amedeo Minichiello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fedele Di Lullo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Campogalliano's Anselmo Orsini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adriano Colagrossi in the 61st minute of play. 69 minutes into the game, Armin Gianfrancesco cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Fedele Di Lullo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Campogalliano getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Alfonso Pantani hit a great ball. 77 minutes into the match, Campogalliano's Armin Gianfrancesco sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fedele Di Lullo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Adriano Colagrossi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anselmo Orsini having to interfere. Alex Toppi lost his temper 86 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 85th minute, one of Campogalliano:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Campogalliano. Anselmo Orsini had in the 87thth minute some difficulties stopping Angelo Prosperi's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
