Ciccio Rulli hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. The wind increased when Corrado Menna made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Friulkatané's Florian Di Florio got a free kick in the 53rd minute. After 55 minutes, Antonello Di Fazio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Friulkatané and the Borgosatollo AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ermanno Petrella struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. In the 82nd match minute, Friulkatané was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edoardo Costacurta to maneuver through the defense. After 83 played minutes, Borgosatollo AFC's Donato Cirulli shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sixtus Flory came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Borgosatollo AFC reached it. Beppe De Paolis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Friulkatané's Sixtus Flory played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Corrado Menna in the 94th minute of play. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Borgosatollo AFC were victorious despite being under pressure from Friulkatané for much of the match.
