Carter Ciccone was extremely unlucky when he, in the 6th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Ubaldo Matildo Shitta-Bay made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aurelio Santucci in the 9th minute. When Claudio Mazzocco fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Limito's protests and gave Claudio Mazzocco a yellow card for diving instead. Limito's Ubaldo Matildo Shitta-Bay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carter Ciccone in the 11th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carter Ciccone in the 13th minute of play forced Limito's goalkeeper Ubaldo Matildo Shitta-Bay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 13th match minute, Limito was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adriano Rucci to maneuver through the defense. 15 minutes into the match, Carter Ciccone notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Limito's Ubaldo Matildo Shitta-Bay. Ubaldo Matildo Shitta-Bay was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Carter Ciccone received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Ubaldo Matildo Shitta-Bay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ubaldo Matildo Shitta-Bay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carter Ciccone, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Aurelio Santucci managed to get in a good position for a shot. Eporediao Athleticao's supporters rose to their feet, but Aurelio Santucci was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ubaldo Matildo Shitta-Bay breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 28thth minute of the game Carter Ciccone who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Limito's Ubaldo Matildo Shitta-Bay was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Carlo Allemandi hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carlo Allemandi in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ubaldo Matildo Shitta-Bay prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Limito's Ubaldo Matildo Shitta-Bay proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Limito from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carter Ciccone in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ubaldo Matildo Shitta-Bay saved Limito from getting behind. Carter Ciccone sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anselmo Di Pasquale stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Anselmo Di Pasquale recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Carter Ciccone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carter Ciccone in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ubaldo Matildo Shitta-Bay prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Aurelio Santucci received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Eporediao Athleticao reached it. After having played for 74 minutes, Anselmo Di Pasquale managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Limito's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anselmo Di Pasquale was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Eporediao Athleticao's goalkeeper Francesco Muzi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Aurelio Santucci sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Limito's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
