But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabio Giannotti couldn't finish the play. Felice Diana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabio Giannotti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anselmo Orsini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dave Gaeta in the 7th minute of the match. 9 minutes into the match, Dave Gaeta had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Anselmo Orsini. Campogalliano's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dave Gaeta was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Black Devil Napoli's Felice Diana proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Black Devil Napoli from getting a goal against them. Alfonso Pantani's late challenge caught a Black Devil Napoli's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alfonso Pantani helped the player get up and apologised. In the 19th minute, Alfonso Pantani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dave Gaeta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anselmo Orsini having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Fabio Giannotti managed to get in a good position for a shot. Campogalliano's supporters rose to their feet, but Fabio Giannotti was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Felice Diana breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Campogalliano booed when Black Devil Napoli was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edmondo Falcone didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fabio Giannotti took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Felice Diana. Felice Diana dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. When Campogalliano's Armin Gianfrancesco in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Felice Diana was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Fabio Giannotti showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 42 minute of play. When Corrado Piermattei fell near the penalty area in the 48th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Campogalliano's protests and gave Corrado Piermattei a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Campogalliano getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Corrado Piermattei hit a great ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fabio Giannotti made a kick off. Armin Gianfrancesco took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Felice Diana. Felice Diana dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. In the 60th minute, Armando Santacroce hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 64th minute of the match Armando Santacroce shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Felice Diana showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabio Giannotti in the 65th minute of play forced Black Devil Napoli's goalkeeper Felice Diana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Black Devil Napoli's Fabiano Cruciani got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The attack was good, but when Fabio Giannotti in the 68th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. After 86 minutes of play, Campogalliano's Fabio Giannotti made it 5-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Felice Diana was left in no man's land by his defense there! Armin Gianfrancesco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Black Devil Napoli getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Fabiano Cruciani hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabio Giannotti in the 95th minute of play forced Black Devil Napoli's goalkeeper Felice Diana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fabio Giannotti's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Felice Diana read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 97th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Campogalliano fans cheered their team off the field, for while Black Devil Napoli had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
